Technology experience

The Room Management System from the VDA Telkonet group installed by Middle Eight Hotel manages the access, climate and lighting system. At check-in, the guest receives a badge for access to the room, which allows the hotel manager to monitor entry and receive notifications from the room. Energy saving, easy management of the system by operators and a high level of customisation are the features Middle Eight has chosen to make its rooms smart. Upon first entering the room, guests are greeted by a special Welcome Scenario that will leave them speechless.

Inside the room, smart switches for managing the scenarios and room functions allow the guest to interact with the lighting and air conditioning system in an easy and intuitive way. At the sides of the bed are panels to control the lighting scenarios and choose from numerous functions.
