“Technological luxury with a view of one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful villages.”

Where it is located

The Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is located on the waterfront of Rovinj’s Marina, offering spectacular views of the Old Town, the Church of St Euphemia, which can be reached by a 15-minute walk, and the surrounding scenic landscape. In addition to the Marina, the hotel offers guests access to St Catherine’s Island, which has an exclusive private beach for Maistra Hotel guests, of which the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is a part. This offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the crystal clear sea and Croatian sun in an exclusive and peaceful setting.

Design and mood

The sensation, entering the hotel lobby, is that of being in a futuristic international structure in some Asian megalopolis (the association with the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore was almost natural for me), but then from the windows one immediately glimpses the Venetian Borgo of Rovinj and the Mediterranean Sea that literally enters the interior space thanks to the largest glass window in all of Europe and the incredible architectural design of the Croatian studio 3LHD.The interiors, on the other hand, bear an Italian signature, that of Piero Lissoni and his team, who were inspired by the concept of a large ship, with all the rooms facing the sea. The corridors, called ‘walkways’, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens are in shades of blue like the sky and the sea, while the rooms pick up on the neutral, material colours of the earth.

Room style

The 209 rooms at the Hotel Grand Park Rovinj are designed to offer guests an experience of luxury, comfort and relaxation, with a minimalist and refined design that blends harmoniously with its surroundings.Room interiors are decorated in warm earth tones, creating a feeling of warmth and cosiness. These tones are in stark contrast to the blue and azure colours of the sky and sea visible through the windows, offering a direct connection to the surrounding marine environment.
All rooms face south towards the Marina of Rovinj and the town itself, offering beautiful panoramic views. This privileged location allows guests to fully enjoy the beauty of the seascape and fully immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of Rovinj. The rooms are large in size and offer total privacy, providing a personal space in which to relax. Many rooms are terraced, allowing guests to enjoy private outdoor spaces.
